  When I think of the best "Mami" in Los Angeles, this is the only place I know that serves its authentic taste. MAMI IS NOT THE SAME AS RAMEN so all you ramen fanatics, chill. Haha.
  
  First of all, service and attention you get in this little place is everything but. The kind and warm staff here have never faltered over the years I've been coming here. (Nearly 20 years)
  
  For me, a good Mami tastes like the broth is practically the bone (chicken or beef) melted down to its rich flavor. Particularly, the soup of the chicken Mami  is near, if not on par with my childhood favorite Mami back in Quezon City, Philippines, MA MON LUK. And that's just the Mami. Wait till you taste the ever so crispy lechon kawali, pares, pork asado siopao, and crispy pata and tokwa't baboy. These are the items I can vouch for as they are my regular rotational picks on the menu; it is, however enough for me to give them a well earned 5-star rating. Cash only, but trust me, you'll wanna stop by the ATM before you come here.

  My fiance and I came by because we were craving Mais con yelo and Manila Sunset had JUST closed for the night. I am so glad we ended up here! The mais con yelo was very simple and they give the sugar separately which is nice because you get to control how sweet it's going to be. While sitting, I saw one of the other tables in the restaurant eating the savory chicken plate so I got jealous and ordered one for myself. IT WAS BOMB.
  
  The service was really good too! We ordered the mais con yelo to go but changed our mind to just eat it in the restaurant. Right when we sat down to eat, 2 glasses of water automatically served to us.
  
  My fiancé had just eaten so the food was just for me, but they gave both of us a bowl of soup and automatically offered to bring an extra plate and extra set of utensils. They were very attentive.
  
  Can't wait to try their other food!
  
  The one star is only because of the fact that they're cash only which is just slightly inconvenient.

  I've lived close by this restaurant in panorama for about 4 years. Passing by this place and never giving attention to this place neither the plaza.
  
  I came here to eat with my girlfriend and her family because they wanted to eat some big siopao. It was interesting thinking about it so we decided to come with them.
  
  We ordered the family meal. Turns out after trying a lot of the food they have to offer. They do a great job with Filipino cuisine. My favorite has to the the siopao they give you. They soup is great, chicken and everything else i tried here.
  
  On top of that, the people in this establishment were also very friendly and accommodating. If you're in the local area, go ahead and support this place. It's a great place, with great food and great people!
  
  The interior isn't the biggest, so maybe considering take out could be a good option for you.

  looking for a home style DELICIOUS Filipino food ? i HIGHLY recommend this place. I live all the way in the 626 area, drove all the way here just to try this Filipino restaurant. I have no regrets. It was worth the drive.
  
  I got too caught up in how delicious the food was that I forgot to take pictures! Their beef mami was good, it wasn't salty. It was just right and the meat in the mami was so good and tender. Their spaghetti was also so good, it was sweet. Better than most places I've been to. The one that caught my eye and taste buds the most was their LARGE siopao. IT WAS THE SIZE OF MY FACE. it was so good and fluffy.
  
  Their service was also fast paced, but yet they were so kind. VERY kind. I felt like I was home.
  
  I definitely will be coming back for more.

  I've had this place bookmarked since last August, so I'm glad I finally had a chance to try the food here. They're located in a small plaza, so there's some parking available. It's nothing fancy, but the restaurant is comfortable.
  
  FOOD:
  Lomi: Good, and probably the best Lomi I've had from any Filipino restaurant in LA so far. It's really flavorful, comes with plenty of thick egg noodles in their house-made egg drop soup, and comes with plenty of toppings (sliced pork, pork meatball, and fish ball).
  
  MK Chicken Plate: Just okay. Their tender chicken is seasoned with a blend of Chinese spices, which unfortunately didn't appeal to my family, is one of their popular menu items. It's served with 2 scoops of their popular Java rice and a side salad.
  
  Special Mami: It's not the best I've had, but it's among the better ones I've tried so far in the Valley. Their Special comes with strips of chicken, Beef Pares, and pork wontons in a light broth with egg noodles. The broth is a bit sweet because of the Beef Pares, but it's pretty good and matches well; the overall flavor is balanced.
  
  Bola Bola Siopao: I echo the complaints about the skimpy filling (mainly because they shape it into a ball), but it is incredibly flavorful. The pork filling is cooked well (and is accompanied by a piece of sausage and salted egg), while the dough of the siopao I received was fresh from the steamers.
  
  The family that runs this place is very friendly and welcoming. Their restaurant is small, but they do their best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner.
